My whole family got covid and were laid up. My Dad also fell and broke several ribs. In the thick of my internal reckoning with our messed up relationship when I was little, I found myself as his round-the-clock nursemaid.
I felt like my healing journey had hit the big leagues, and I leaned on dancing and Florence to navigate me through.
